WHEN: Wednesday January 13th, 2016

WHERE: @ 372 Bay St (Bay and Richmond St) 21st floor – just 1 block south of Queen St and the Eaton Centre

TIME: 9am-3pm

 

Job Details:

  • Responsible for assisting customers face to face with general information on route changes, closures, and introducing new payment processes.
  • Distributing flyers to customers as required

 

Job Location: various locations throughout Toronto

 

Contract: On-going

 

Hours: Full Time and part time hours- depending on the project- (8 -11 hr shifts) which include weekends with mid-week off days. You must be flexible as you can be scheduled to work different shifts on a weekly basis. Hours are anywhere from 8 -11 hr shifts and will be anywhere from 5:30am- 4pm for the day shift and anywhere between 3:30pm-2:30am for afternoon shifts.

 

Job Description: This position is a front-line customer service related position, which has been developed to assist customers on-board the new Streetcar with payment processes, operational questions and route diversion information.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assisting customers with general information
  • Handing out brochures to TTC patrons informing them of the Streetcar changes
  • Responsible for assisting customers with questions regarding new automated payment process

 

Requirements/Working Conditions

  • Excellent English verbal communication.
  • Strong customer service skills and knowledge of the City of Toronto’s downtown attractions (would be an asset)
  • Will be required to interact with customers
  • Required to stand during the full duration of your shift on-board the streetcar
  • Will be required to successfully complete in-house training relevant to this position during weekend (8.5 hours/ day)
  • Required to pass a criminal background check
