Our story begins in 1971…
Chapter 1 – Meet Keith Bagg, a man with a vocation and a vision who would become an industry legend in Canada. Keith quickly gains renown for making recruiting a personal affair – the first to make it a point of business that Bagg candidates are the right people for the job, not just people with the right skills. Spotlight on Keith. A founding member and former president of the former Canadian Association of Professional Placement Agencies and Consultants (APPAC), Keith is celebrated for helping set standards that remain the hallmark of the industry today. In 2002, Keith is awarded the prestigious ACSESS Lifetime Achievement Award.
Chapter 2 – Flashback to the 70s: Word of mouth about Bagg’s holistic approach to recruiting spreads. To meet demand, Bagg creates divisions to service sales, marketing, accounting, administrative personnel, finance, and industrial markets. In 1974, Bagg takes over an entire floor on Adelaide Street, its home for the next year 15 years.
Chapter 3 – Business grows as a family affair in the 80s: Mary Bagg officially comes on board to start up the full-time secretary placement practice, making the business truly a family affair. Keith Bagg Staffing Inc. becomes Keith Bagg Associates Inc., now Fulcrum Search Science Inc.
Chapter 4 – 90s goes Techno: The IT division, Bagg Information Technology Search, is born in 1997. Today it’s known as the market leader, Bagg Technology Resources Inc (BTR).
Chapter 5 – New millennium, new growth: Keith retires, Geoff Bagg takes over as president in 2000 and acquires TOSI Services. Keith Bagg Staffing doubles to be one of the largest of the few remaining independent agencies in Ontario.
In 2006, the company is renamed The Bagg Group to reflect its broader scope. Geoff Bagg is elected treasurer for the National Board of the Association of Canadian Search, Employment and Staffing Services (ACSESS), continuing the family tradition of industry involvement and leadership.
Chapter 6 – As of 2010, we expand further, faster, stronger: Live by the credo that a company will thrive when its people are encouraged to flex creative thinking, and great things happen. We’re a case in point. Conceiving innovative solutions for clients and expanded possibilities for high-achieving candidates, Geoff and the leadership team break open new sectors and new markets. The company acquires Turn Key Staffing (TKS) in 2011 to lead in light industrial.
Skyrocketing: By 2013, we have five specialized divisions, BTR, Bagg Professional, TKS, Bagg Managed Resources and Bagg @ Your Service. Business continues to soar – powered by our reputation for integrity and agility in whatever we do and wherever we go.

Best ratings for exceptional service to clients and candidates: We are named repeatedly to the Inavero Best of Staffing Client List (2011-12) and Inavero Best of Staffing Talent List (2010-12).
Volunteerism is in our DNA, but it’s nice to be acknowledged for it: Proud recipients of two ACSESS Awards for Community Service (2010, 2004).
We live what we preach: The Bagg Group, Markham Office, won the 13th Annual Markham Board of Trade Business Excellence Award for High Standards and Working Conditions (2003).
The family legacy of working for the betterment of the industry continues: Geoff Bagg is awarded the TempNet Presidential Citation 2002 for Outstanding Contribution for his work to expand the scope of TempNet from a U.S.-based organization to one that is now recognized and respected across North America.
